CSU collaborates with UN-FAO

President Anthony M. Penaso will soon be signing a memorandum of engagement with the United Nations-Food and Agriculture organization (UN-FAO) on consolidating capacities for DRR in Agriculture in Southeast Asia.

Dr. Roberto A. Sandoval a project leader of the United Nations-Food and Agriculture Organization (UN-FAO) through the Office of the Planning and Development Director Danilo Gaas asked for a consultative meeting with University President Penaso and other key officials on February 25, 2015. Dr. Sandoval presented the program competently and interestingly. The ebullient and perspicacious President Penaso received the UN-FAO proposal with enough verve.

Components of the collaboration will include capacity building, DRRIM plans, weather/climate information products, livelihood and assets protection, climate change, advocacy and communication.
