The Consolidating Capacities for Disaster Risk Reduction in Agriculture in South East Asia (Cambodia, Laos, PDR, Philippines, PDRK )with CSU hosted the Planning for Community Based Adaptation (CBA) to Climate Change Seminar-workshop on April 21-23, 2015 at the CSU ICT Center.
UN-FAO United Nations-Food and Agriculture Administration representative Dr. Robert C. Sandoval, Jr., CSU Director for Planning and Development Dr. Danilo Gaas with the CSU DRR CC Team Dr. Rollyn C. Daguil, Dr. Lilia Z. Boyles, Prof. Gleen Dalaorao, Dr. Tomas M. Austral, Engr. Anna Marie Pondog, Dr. Felomino B. Andig and Prof. Sonia R. Low joined hands together in this once in a lifetime collaboration with the UN-FAO with the guidance and support of the university President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso.
The training also included Post Disaster Needs Assessment in Agriculture. It was participated by almost a hundred of participants from the Local Government Units of Caraga and Davao Oriental. The training used the UN-FAO E-learning tool with focus on community based climate change adaptation in Agriculture.
